Not for long hair March 9, 2010 V. Maletteri (Lancaster, PA) I would not recommend these rollers to anyone with long hair. After attempting to use these rollers for a formal event, I resorted to using a curling iron.
conair 5s7n jumbo rollers instant heat travel hairsetter February 27, 2010 simone perkins (Texas) I keep my heat down to save on heating bills, but still I couldn't believe that it would take about 30 to 45 minutes for these to heat up good enough to put a curl or body in anyone's hair. my own hair is not fine or very thick and usually takes a curl. I owned a set before and loved them, but maybe I just got a set that didn't work very good.
great rollers, bad for travel February 26, 2010 J. Vance (USA) i really like these rollers and have a larger set for home use. purchased these for travel -- i travel for work several times a month and despite a good suitcase, the base, the lid, and most parts of the exterior break, crack, etc. this product needs a redesign for travel.
Roller lacks consistency. February 16, 2010 Erin (San Diego, CA) The rollers are nicely portable, although you must separately purchase clips that fit into the case. Biggest issue with curl is the each roller is split to slide into the heating unit, not like your typical circular heating port. If the tip of your hair falls into this, the curl is irregular.
never would buy this again January 17, 2010 Abbye Brenner (california USA) The heating rollers worked fine, they heated quickly, and the clips held my long hair without any problem. The issue is - this is NOT travel size - case is way too large and delicate plastic. There is no storage for the clips. To call this a Travel Hairsetter is a joke. If you want to use this for normal everyday home use, should not be a problem. If you want this for travel (as advertised), forget it.
