Product Description
You can deal with shampoos and conditioners. Professional hair styling can be expensive. You've got the insight but you don't have the proper styling tools. You really don't need tools. You just need the InStyler

1 out of 5 stars Definantly not worth the money!   March 3, 2010
Andrea L. Wolfe (Muggle world)
BOOOO!!!!! I so looked forward to receiving this product! The very first swipe I took with this device I knew I had made a huge mistake. I am so glad that I purchased this item on Amazon because I am returning mine for a refund. UNLESS you have straight, fine hair I do not see how this could possibly work for anyone. To all who have given this product great reviews... God bless you all! .... you must have already pretty amazing hair! I for one have very curly spiral permed hair. This product with two or three swipes did not straighten my hair. My hair did not look healthy or moisturized. I immediately plugged in my "old faithful" and I am now convinced that more expensive is not always better. I was using my "old faithful" $45 Remington wet to dry 2 " flat iron which I purchased at Walmart 3 years ago prior to this purchase. With my hair slightly damp it completely straightens and conditions! My hair is completely straight and shiny in one swipe! With the instyler I used only a one inch section of hair and went over it three times and it still was not straight, nor shiny... even on the highest setting! I could feel hair being pulled out by the bristles on the brush. I never lose hair with my Remington. To me, the Instyler feels cheap (lightweight and plastic) and does not clamp down on the hair. Personally I felt this was a terrific waste of money!

I would not know what to do without my Instyler. It makes it fast and easy to get my hair done in minutes.

5 out of 5 stars Be hard to live without it now   February 21, 2010

About a month ago my daughter bought one, works perfectly on her very fine medium lenght, wavy, limp hair. Gives it body and straightens it without frizzing. She has paid more for professional type flat irons that fried her hair and didn't do half the job. So I tried it--I'm 60 with short somewhat wavy hair with no body. Hair always needed lots of product to give it any lift. Now I use no products!! My hair looks the best it ever has. We have had no mechanical problems with our instylers. Also, neither one of us has burned ourselves. Perhaps that's because we both have tried many, many different types of curling irons, flat irons, etc. and have learned how not to burn ourselves. All of these types of machines have the potential to burn a person with just a tiny slip of the hand. Seriously, I cannot consider ever going without an instyler now.

4 out of 5 stars Great for thick hair!   February 20, 2010
Meredith E. Bolinger
I really like this product! It smooths out my hair better than any other straightner I've tried before. I have thick, wavy hair with a fine texture. I have a feeling if your hair is course, or if it is very curly it might not work as well. With my hair texture, I have to seperate and pin back my hair into 10 - 12 sections on the top and straighten with a hair dryer on the bottom. It works well and takes about 30 min. If your hair is very curly, It may take longer, or you may have to section the bottom part of your hair as well.

I like the Instyler I had to figure out how to use it properly, but since then I have had nothing but success with it. It makes my hair so bouncy and full of life. I can straighten or curl it up and it always looks great! I recommened this product for sure!!
